A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Incredible Volunteers

Date: 2nd Jun 2025 Author: Lewis Tucker

As we celebrate Volunteers’ Week, we want to take a moment to extend our deepest thanks and heartfelt appreciation to every single volunteer across West Mercia Scout County.

Your hard work, perseverance, and passion make Scouting possible for hundreds of young people. Every hour you give, every activity you lead, every camp you organise, and every word of encouragement you offer helps build confidence, spark adventure, and create lifelong memories.

Because of you, young people across West Mercia are gaining new skills, forming lifelong friendships, and stepping into brighter futures. You are helping shape lives in powerful and positive ways.

We know that volunteering isn’t always easy. It asks for your time, energy, and often a lot of behind-the-scenes effort. But what you do truly matters, not just to the young people and families you support, but to the entire Scouting community.

On behalf of the whole County Team – and especially from the two of us, thank you. You are the heartbeat of Scouting in West Mercia, and we are endlessly grateful.

With appreciation, admiration, and heartfelt gratitude,

Lynn and James
