  • Cost: £70.00 which includes accommodation and food from Saturday breakfast to Sunday lunch. Excludes transport costs to and from the centre.

Two days walking in beautiful Eryri led by experienced permit holders and NGB qualified leaders. This is an opportunity for leaders to walk amongst the most iconic peaks in the National Park and, weather allowing, to climb to the tops.

The accommodation is in bunkrooms, and the building has excellent facilities, just what you need after a good day out in the hills.

It is very important that everyone has all the necessary kit for a full day’s walking in the Welsh hills so that we stay safe. No individual kit will be provided.

All attendees can practice their navigation skills, and the walk leaders will be happy to help you. If you are working towards a hillwalking leader permit, training is available. If you would like to be assessed for a hillwalking permit, then this is a great opportunity but please be aware that assessment places are limited. If you just want to walk, then that’s fine too.

We will confirm the routes on the weekend. There will be different options depending on ability and, of course, the weather.

If you wish to receive training, please fill in the Application form and also the Skills form. This will allow us to make sure that you get the most out of the weekend.

Event leader: For further information please contact the event leader, Andy Barlow.
