26th World Scout Jamboree – Roadshow (Wolverhampton South)
Scouts, parents, and volunteers are invited to take part in a special Roadshow event to discover more about the 26th World Scout Jamboree, set to take place in 2027 in Gdańsk, Poland.
The Roadshow offers a unique chance to learn what a Jamboree is all about—from the scale of the global gathering, to the once-in-a-lifetime opportunities it offers young people. Attendees will also be able to meet the Unit 65 Leadership Team, who will guide and support the contingent of Scouts selected to represent West Mercia at this extraordinary international adventure.
As part of the session, the team will explain the application process for joining Unit 65, sharing practical details on how to apply, what the selection process looks like, and tips for making the most of this rare opportunity.
The World Scout Jamboree is the largest regular event organised by the World Organisation of the Scout Movement, bringing together tens of thousands of young people from across the globe to celebrate friendship, culture, adventure, and peace. For many Scouts, it’s a defining moment in their Scouting journey and a springboard to new experiences, skills, and lifelong friendships.
Event Highlights:
- An introduction to the 26th World Scout Jamboree
- Meet and connect with the Unit 65 Leadership Team
- Learn about the application process and how to get involved

Whether you’re a young person considering applying, a parent eager to understand what’s involved, or a volunteer curious about the Jamboree experience, the Roadshow will provide all the information you need.
