Scouts First Response – Trauma and Injury Module 10A Face to Face (Option 2 – 10/12)
Trauma and Injury is one of the three First Response theory sessions making up module 10A.
All three theory sessions MUST be completed before the final practical validation module 10B can be attended.
This theory session will be delivered Face to Face and may last up to two hours.
The session covers recognition of the signs, and symptoms and what action needs to be taken when presented with:
- Choking
- Shock
- Bleeding
- Fractures (ambulance imminent and non-imminent) and sprains
- Head injuries
- Dental incidents
- Burns
