Leader Training is Changing – Wood Badge Validation Programme (I)

The structure and process of leader training is changing this year which will mean only Validated Modules from current Compass records will transfer across, so to ensure all leaders have the opportunity to complete a Wood Badge using the present system we are providing a series of Validations Opportunities across our County where members of the County Volunteer Development Team can be on hand to help leaders validate their remaining modules.

Initially a series of dates per programme are published, you may not be able to, or even need, to attend all dates listed simply book your preferred programme and a member of the County Volunteer Development Team will be in touch.

The  venue for this programme is  West Mercia Scouts, East Park Way, Wolverhampton, WV1 2DN, Access via Plascom Road, Wolverhampton, WV1 2DQ.

Validation sessions are generally one hour slots starting at 7.30pm and the provisional dates are set out below.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
